The current development phase was planned to end in 2023 with a free playable demo released on Steam.
I only want to relase something that I personally would enjoy playing. Since this is currently a hobby project I underestimated the time it will take to provide a polished game that fulfills this requirement. The development is steadily progressing and will definetly take longer than 2023. I still have hopes for 2024, but I will not make further announcements until an achievable date is certain.
Main features:
- Tamagotchi-like real-time System to train and evolve an Anima Companion
- Non-linear evolutions. An anima can evolve into multiple forms based on its training.
- An evolving open world with a Day-Night system that can be rediscovered many times
- A town that grows as Citizens are recruited by finding them in the world and solving tasks to convince them to join the town
- A strategic real-time battle system that lets you use your Anima companion's strength to defend against dangers
Content (for the first Demo):
- 1-2 hours of Story playtime, max. 4-5 hours for total content
- 3 different evolution levels, a total of 9 different Animas
- 4 different (but somewhat similar) biomes to discover
- 6 recruitable citizens
- 4 Town Buildings
- 2 Training mini-games
- 3 Boss-fights, 5 Enemies
- 12 Attack-Animations
